This is Follow Jesus Radio, encouraging you to have faith in Jesus Christ and follow Him daily. The title of this devotional thought is:

Knowing the Father Through Jesus

Let's listen to God's Word in John 1:18 (KJV):

"No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him."

You don't have to be a genius to know God. You don't need a long list of degrees or years of study. God has made Himself known to us through His Son, Jesus Christ.

If you want to know what the Father is like, look to Jesus. Listen to His words in the Bible. Watch how He loved people, showed compassion, forgave sinners, and gave His life on the cross. Jesus perfectly reveals the heart of our heavenly Father.

The wonderful thing is that this revelation is available to every believer. As we read the Bible, listen to the teachings of Jesus, and learn to see Him throughout all of Scripture, we grow in our knowledge of God. The more we know Jesus, the more we know the Father.

And that's the key to an overcoming life. We don't overcome by relying on our own wisdom or strength. We overcome by walking with Jesus day by day, trusting His Word, and enjoying a growing relationship with Him.

So today, spend a few quiet moments with Jesus. Open your Bible and ask Him to reveal Himself to you. As you keep your eyes on Christ, you'll discover more and more of the Father's love, grace, and faithfulness.

Until next time, keep your eyes on Jesus.

That's it for this podcast. Remember, Jesus loves you and is just a prayer away.
