This is Follow Jesus Radio, encouraging you to have faith in Jesus Christ and follow Him daily. The title of this devotional thought is: "Jesus Is Our Vision."
Ezekiel 1:1 (KJV) – "Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God."
Ezekiel was far from home. He was living among captives in Babylon, surrounded by uncertainty and sorrow. Yet it was there, in the place of exile, that the heavens were opened, and God gave him a vision of His glory. This reminds us that no circumstance can prevent God from revealing Himself to His people.
For those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ, He is our vision. We do not simply seek extraordinary experiences—we seek the Savior Himself. Jesus is the image of the invisible God, the radiance of the Father's glory, and the One through whom God has fully revealed Himself. When our eyes are fixed on Christ, we see God's love at the cross, His victory in the resurrection, His grace for today, and His promise of eternal life.
The Lord still opens the eyes of His people through His Word. As we walk with Jesus, He reveals His truth, strengthens our faith, and gives us wisdom for each day. He enables us to see beyond our present circumstances to the eternal hope that is ours in Him. Like Ezekiel, we may find ourselves in difficult places, but our greatest vision is not our situation—it is our Savior.
Today, ask the Lord to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. Let Him be your vision, your hope, and your joy. The more clearly we see Christ, the more faithfully we will follow Him.

Heavenly Father, thank You for revealing Yourself through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Thank You that even in life's difficult seasons, You open our eyes to behold His glory and His grace. Help us to keep our hearts and minds fixed on Jesus, trusting Him above what we see with our natural eyes. Reveal more of His love through Your Word, strengthen our faith by Your Holy Spirit, and shape our lives into His likeness. May Christ always be our vision, our treasure, and our eternal hope. In His precious name we pray. Amen.
