This is Follow Jesus Radio, encouraging you to have faith in Jesus Christ and follow Him daily. The title of this devotional thought is: Better Than Life.
Our Scripture is Psalm 63:3 (NKJV): "Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise You."
Have you ever stopped to think about God's lovingkindness toward you? David did, and he came to this wonderful conclusion: God's lovingkindness is better than life itself.
Why? Because God's love is eternal. Long before we ever loved Him, He loved us. He reached down to us in our sin by sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to be our Savior. At the cross, Jesus took our place, bearing the judgment our sins deserved so that we could receive the love we never deserved.
If you have trusted Christ, God no longer sees you as condemned. He sees you in His beloved Son. His lovingkindness has forgiven you, adopted you into His family, and promised you eternal life. That love will never fail and never let you go.
No matter what today may bring, you can rest in this unchanging truth: God's lovingkindness is better than life because it is found in Jesus Christ. And that is a love worth praising every day.

Father, thank You for Your everlasting lovingkindness shown to us through Jesus Christ. Thank You for loving us enough to send Your Son to die in our place and to make us Your own. Help us to rest in Your unfailing love today, and may our lips continually praise You. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
