Deliverance From Your Trial

This is Follow Jesus Radio encouraging you to have faith in Jesus Christ and follow him daily. The title of this devotional thought is: Deliverance From Your Trial.

The area I live in is under a Flood Watch from the weather service. It reminds me of when the earth was under a Flood Watch in Noah's time.

Second Peter 2:5 (NLT):  "And God did not spare the ancient world—except for Noah and the seven others in his family. Noah warned the world of God's righteous judgment. So God protected Noah when he destroyed the world of ungodly people with a vast flood."

The judgment of God fell upon those who rejected God's way. And now we are under a "Judgment Watch." Judgment is coming on those who reject God's way in His Son, Jesus Christ.

In the meantime, those of us who have placed our faith in Jesus Christ live in a world that is in rebellion against God, and we face many trials. But Brother Peter reminds us in Second Peter 2:9:  "So you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials, even while keeping the wicked under punishment until the day of final judgment."

Do you need to be rescued today from a trial? If you have faith in Jesus Christ, you can look up to your Heavenly Father to deliver you. He never fails. Remember what it says in the Bible in Hebrews 13:5: "...God has said, 'I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.'"

But wait! There is hope for those of you who have not believed in the Lord Jesus Christ. Right now, you can experience God's forgiveness for all your sins. Look to Jesus and ask for His forgiveness right now. It says in John 1:12, "But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God."

That's it for this podcast.Remember, Jesus loves you and is just a prayer away.
