This is Follow Jesus Radio encouraging you to have faith in Jesus Christ and follow him daily. The title of this devotional thought is: Walking with the Wise.
Proverbs 13:20 (WEB):
"One who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm."
Who you walk with shapes who you become. Scripture makes that plain. Your friendships, your influences, the voices you allow closest to you—these are not neutral. They are forming your character day by day.
If you walk with the wise—those who fear the Lord, who love His Word, who pursue holiness—you will grow in wisdom. Their influence will sharpen you, correct you, and point you toward truth. But if you keep close company with those who reject God, who treat sin lightly, who live for themselves, Scripture says the end is harm—real, spiritual destruction.
This is a call to examine your circle honestly. Are the people shaping your life drawing you closer to Christ, or pulling you away?
The good news is that true wisdom is found in Jesus Christ. He is the wisdom of God, and through Him, sinners are forgiven and made new. Turn from sin, trust in Him, and walk daily in His ways. Then seek out others who are doing the same, and walk together toward life.
That's it for this podcast. Follow Jesus Radio is here 24 hours a day to encourage you to have faith in Jesus Christ and follow Him daily. Remember, Jesus loves you and is just a prayer away.
