Let's reflect on Psalm 31:19, which says, "Oh, how great is your goodness, which you have stored up for those who fear you, which you bestow in the sight of men on those who take refuge in you."
God's goodness is immeasurable and abundant. This verse reminds us that He has laid up blessings for those who fear Him—those who respect and honor Him. Even before we come to know the Lord, His goodness surrounds us. We can see His hand in the beauty of creation, the love of family, and the simple joys of life. These are all gifts from a loving Father who desires to draw us closer to Him.
After we accept Christ and experience salvation, His blessings become even more profound. We gain a new perspective on life, filled with hope, peace, and joy. Romans 8:28 tells us, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." This verse reassures us that God is actively working in our lives for our good, even in challenging times.
As we grow in our relationship with Him, we begin to recognize the daily blessings that flow from His goodness. James 1:17 reminds us, "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights." Each day is an opportunity to see His grace in action, whether through answered prayers, the support of friends, or the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Let us take a moment to reflect on the goodness of God in our lives. Are there blessings we may have overlooked? Are we taking refuge in Him, trusting in His plans? As we fear the Lord and seek Him, we can be assured that His goodness will be evident in our lives, both now and forever.
Let's Pray: Heavenly Father, thank You for Your incredible goodness and the blessings You have stored up for us. Help us to recognize and appreciate them daily. May we always take refuge in You and trust in Your perfect plans. In Jesus' name, Amen.
May you be encouraged today by the greatness of God's goodness!
That's it for this podcast.Remember, Jesus loves you and is just a prayer away.
