Deuteronomy 28:2 All these blessings will come upon you and overtake you if you listen to the LORD your God’s voice.
I was thinking about the blessings of repentance—of turning away from sins to God and seeking forgiveness. And blessing upon blessing of the gift of restored relationship with God. And blessing upon blessing upon blessing of the promise of heaven and eternal life!
Jesus spoke about eternal life for those who forsake all to follow him: Matthew 19:29: “Everyone who has left houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, will receive one hundred times, and will inherit eternal life.”
And how about the blessing of walking and talking with Jesus every day!
Matthew 28:20 “. . . Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
I hope you have found these blessings. If not, then do what I did. Turn from your sins and turn to Jesus. See Him as the only sacrifice God will accept to make you right with God.
