Stability And Prosperity

Stability And Prosperity

Our Scripture reading is from: Psalms 16:5-7 (NET)  Lord, you give me stability and prosperity; you make my future secure. It is as if I have been given fertile fields or received a beautiful tract of land. I will praise the Lord who guides me; yes, during the night I reflect and learn.

When you think about it, Jesus is our stability. Jesus is our prosperity. Every blessing we have is from Him. It starts even before the creation of the world. Were are told in Ephesians 1:3-4

Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms in Christ. For he chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world that we may be holy and unblemished in his sight in love.

Not only did God love you before He said "Let there be light" but he carefully wove you together in your mother's womb. Listen to what is written in Psalm 139:13-16 (NIrV) You created the deepest parts of my being. You put me together inside my mother’s body.  How you made me is amazing and wonderful. I praise you for that. What you have done is wonderful. I know that very well. None of my bones was hidden from you when you made me inside my mother’s body. That place was as dark as the deepest parts of the earth. When you were putting me together there,  your eyes saw my body even before it was formed. You planned how many days I would live. You wrote down the number of them in your book before I had lived through even one of them.

These are the blessings God has poured out on you through His Son Jesus Christ. It is like a waterfall that never stops cascading down with blessings upon blessings on you!

Let's thank the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God who sent Messiah Jesus for best gift of all: Jesus!
