Faith Begins and Ends with Jesus

Hebrews 11:1 (NKJV) – "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

Faith is not wishful thinking or blind optimism. Biblical faith is confident trust in God and His promises, even when we cannot yet see the outcome. Our faith is anchored in a Person—Jesus Christ, the Author and Finisher of our faith.

Throughout the Gospels, we see people who placed their faith in Jesus. Blind Bartimaeus believed Jesus could give him sight, and he was healed. The woman who suffered for twelve years believed that even touching the hem of Jesus' garment would make her whole, and she was healed. Martha believed Jesus was the Christ, even in the midst of her brother Lazarus' death, and she witnessed His resurrection power. Their faith was not in circumstances but in the Savior.

The same Jesus who was faithful then is faithful today. We may not see how He is working behind the scenes, but we know He is keeping every promise. When answers seem delayed, when trials seem overwhelming, and when the future is uncertain, we can trust the One who sees the end from the beginning. Jesus never abandons those who put their faith in Him.

Today, fix your eyes on Christ. He is the foundation of your hope, the strength of your faith, and the One who will complete the good work He has begun in you. Faith grows stronger as we walk with Jesus, trust His Word, and remember His faithfulness.
