This is Follow Jesus Radio encouraging you to have faith in Jesus Christ and follow him daily. The title of this devotional thought is: Why We Praise God.
Praise is an essential part of our relationship with God. It acknowledges His greatness, His love, and His faithfulness in our lives.
God is worthy of praise. Psalm 150:6 says, "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!" This verse reminds us that all creation is called to worship Him.
Praise brings us closer to God. Psalm 22:3 tells us, "Yet you are holy, enthroned on the praises of Israel." When we praise God, we invite His presence into our lives.
Praise strengthens our faith. In Acts 16:25, Paul and Silas were imprisoned, yet they prayed and sang hymns to God. Their praise led to a miraculous deliverance. When we praise God in difficult times, it strengthens our faith and trust in Him.
Praise is a response to His goodness. Psalm 100:4 encourages us, "Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name." We praise God for who He is and what He has done in our lives.
Let us take a moment to reflect on His goodness and offer our praise. Remember, no matter the circumstances, God is always deserving of our worship.
