If I were to count them, they are more in number than the sand. When I wake up, I am still with you.
Think about that: "I am still with you." When Jesus gives us the gift of faith, we are given a passkey into the presence of our Heavenly Father. We are still with God every day of our lives. He is with us when we wake up, He is with us during the day, He is with us as we sleep. "Psalms 3:5 I lay down and slept; I awoke; for the LORD sustained me."
The Psalmist wrote in Psalms 139:3: "Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways." The dictionary defines "compassest" as an archaic English term (second-person singular present) meaning to surround, encircle, encompass, or scrutinize. I guess you could say God is very much involved in all areas of our lives.
And then there is the guarantee of eventually facing God after death: Psalms 17:15: "As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness."
We are not alone. Our Creator's love and presence are with us throughout eternity.
